1.Can I order a fully custom pen?
Absolutely! Simply send us a picture or design specs via email to caelencarter@gmail.com. Please include specs such as pen material, pen color, nib and clip finish, style of pen and other elements if you don't have a picture. We will contact you if we have any questions and will provide you pricing.
2. Can I have it engraved?
Currently we don't have that capability, but it will be coming soon!
3. What does "hand-turned"mean?
Hand-turned is the technical name for using a lathe. The lathe spins the acrylic or wood at a high RPM and I use special carbide blade chisels with different shapes to make each custom curve, line and shape.
4. Do you really turn each pen by hand?
Yes! And it's so much fun! We never quite know exactly how the finished product will turn out since each piece of wood or acrylic is unique. Which means you always get a one of a kind pen!
5. How many people make the pens?
Just me! My parents are helping me order supplies and sometimes run the shipping part of the business for me, but the hand crafting is done by the one and only me!
